A 24-year-old man is in custody after drivers on Highway 11 south of Saskatoon reported a dangerous erratic driver who was passing other vehicles on the right and entering the ditch.
The first reports were at about 7:30 p.m. Friday near Bladworth, about 100 kilometres south of Saskatoon.
The driver was travelling north towards Saskatoon at speeds of 140 to 170 kilometres per hour, according to an RCMP news release.

Firearm seized after altercation at Melfort Exhibition
No shots were fired and no one was injured during an altercation between a man and three women at the Melfort Exhibition, but a firearm was seized afterward, police say.

Health officials investigate salmonella cases after Englefeld Hogfest
Health officials say they are investigating an outbreak of salmonella poisoning related to a public supper in a village east of Saskatoon.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority says 11 people reported symptoms after eating at the Englefeld Hogfest on June 30.
The health authority says 750 meals were served, but no specific food has been pinpointed as the cause of the outbreak.
Salmonella infection usually results from eating raw or undercooked meat, poultry, eggs or egg products.

Healing Camp for Justice leaves Victoria Park, looks to the future
The teepee was disassembled and the remaining camp supplies were already packed away by late morning on Friday, ending the 10-day Healing Camp for Justice in Saskatoon’s Victoria Park.
The camp, organized by Chris Martell, started on July 10 and had a permit to remain there until July 20. The camp’s aim was to provide a healing space for people who endured painful experiences in the foster care system. Martell’s son, Evander Daniels, died at a foster home in 2010.

Sask. government pledges to stand up for uranium producers
