Review: Shakespearian puppet show a bloody spectacle you shouldn't miss
Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan’s first foray into puppet theatre with an adaptation of Titus Andronicus features blood, vengeance, some surprisingly involved puppet sex — and it is strikingly well done.
Friday night’s performance was shocking entertainment. Between the decapitations, disembowelments and the many disarming moments (pun intended), it was probably for the best that this particular play was done with puppets.
The plot of Titus Andronicus follows the titular Titus -

Summery, savoury watermelon: Salad expands the possibilities
Now that we’re officially into summer (hip hip hurrah!) watermelon is a constant in the shopping cart.
I don’t know about you, but it’s always a guessing game when I pick one up. Sure, I check that’s it feels heavy and has that telltale yellow spot which is supposed to ensure ripeness but, honestly, when it comes to watermelon, you get what you get. I cross my fingers and leave it up to chance.
Kind of like when I buy a lottery ticket. Recently, I picked up two of those s -
