  The victim in Prince Albert’s first homicide of 2018 has been identified publicly by P.A. police.
  Tyrell Bird, 28, was shot in the 100 block of Ninth Street East at around 9 p.m. on June 28. He was taken to hospital in Saskatoon, where he later died as a result of his injuries. Following an autopsy, police are now investigating the death as a homicide.

  A 37-year-old man from the Kawacatoose First Nation is dead after his ATV struck a horse Monday night.
  Punnichy RCMP and RMS were called to the scene approximately 10 kilometres northwest of Punnichy at 10:36 p.m.
  According to an RCMP release, the westbound ATV driven by the man hit a single horse. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
  The horse sustained injuries as a result and had to be euthanized by police at the scene.
