A 28-year-old man was charged with numerous weapons offences after a traffic stop by Saskatoon police over the weekend.
Around 11:15 a.m. on Friday, an officer with the traffic unit conducted a stop in the area of Avenue T South and 22nd Street after noticing a rear passenger of a car was not wearing a seatbelt, according to a police news release.

PRINCE ALBERT — Police in Saskatchewan have recaptured three youths who had escaped custody and were considered dangerous.
The teens, all 17 years old, were awaiting trial on what the Justice Ministry called “serious indictable charges.”
