A 69-year-old man from Saskatoon is facing charges after a report alleging he approached a 10-year-old boy for a sexual purpose.
The boy reported being approached by an older man at 8:30 a.m. on May 30 in the area of Avenue P South, according to a police news release.
The boy said the man then offered him money to go to his apartment. Once inside, the boy alleges the man attempted to get sexual favours from him, police said.

Heat wave expected in parts of Saskatchewan
It is hot in northwest Saskatchewan.
Environment Canada issued a heat warning for several northern communities, including La Loche, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and Île à la Crosse, on Monday morning.
According to the national forecaster, daily temperatures are expected to reach or exceed 29 C with minimum overnight temperatures staying above 14 C. The heat is likely to stick around until at least Thursday.

A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a semi-pedestrian collision on Highway 7 on Sunday morning.
Kindersley RCMP were called to the area near Flaxcombe around 1:30 a.m., according to an RCMP news release. Police said she was hit by the westbound vehicle and was taken to hospital as a result. No description or details about the woman were provided.
