Police investigating three different stabbings in 24-hour period
Saskatoon police say they are investigating after three people were stabbed in a 24-hour period.
Officers were first called around 5 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon to City Hospital, where a 20-year-old woman had sought help for a stab wound following an altercation in the 100 block of Avenue I South, police said in a news release.
The victim and the suspect in that incident were known to each other, according to a police news release.

RCMP searching for missing piece of farm equipment
RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating a piece of farm equipment that went missing from the Landis area on May 24.
On Thursday, RCMP received a report that an auger had been stolen. The piece of equipment is a Brandt SL 10×70 and is blue in colour, according to a news release from Unity RCMP.
RCMP say the augur was stolen during the night of May 23. Police note the auger, which is valued at roughly $8,000, had a modified frame which would make it stand out.
