Preliminary results from the 2018 Point-In-Time Homelessness Count show fewer children are experiencing homelessness in Saskatoon than a previous count found.

42-year-old man charged with dangerous driving, evading police
A 42-year-old man has been charged with numerous offences, including dangerous driving and evading police, after a brief police chase in Saskatoon.
Just after 5 a.m. on Wednesday an officer noted a vehicle being driven in “an erratic dangerous manner” in the 500 block of Avenue X South. When the officer tried to stop the car, the driver accelerated and attempted to flee, according to a police news release.

The issue of no pipelines is affecting us in many ways. Recently, I waited for two different trains each hauling a minimum of 100 tankers of oil.
It struck me that if we had proceeded with the east/west pipeline and Kinder Morgan pipeline there would be little or no need for this product to be hauled by rail. This would free up the rail lines to haul the huge backlog of grain as well as the backlog of potash which has just initiated mass layoffs in Saskatchewan.

Police seize meth, cash and cellphones in Prince Albert
Prince Albert police have charged a 32-year-old woman with possession of methamphetamine after a traffic stop earlier this week.
Police report the woman was arrested shortly after 4 a.m. when police stopped her while driving on 15th Street West, according to a police news release.
Officers found the vehicle was impoundable and as a result removed the woman and the occupants from the car.
