A teenager is facing charges after allegedly threatening a high school in Saskatoon on Monday morning.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Bowlt Crescent at around 9:30 a.m. after students at the school had seen threats on social media and alerted school staff, according to a police news release.
Saskatoon police were then notified by staff at the school and were able to locate the 16-year-old boy in a park west of the school, taking him into custody.

Three injured after shooting in Sutherland
City police are investigating and three people were found with injuries following a shooting in Saskatoon’s Sutherland neighbourhood.
Just after midnight on Monday, Saskatoon police and emergency services were called to the 300 block of Central Avenue for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located two people who were injured on scene and a third who was transported to hospital in a private vehicle.
