  Naveed Anwar has been acclaimed as the new leader of the Saskatchewan Liberal Party, the party announced on Saturday in Saskatoon.
  Tara Jijian had been serving as interim leader since the fall of 2017.

  An 18-year-old woman and 21-year-old man are dead after a single-vehicle collision in Yorkton.
  Yorkton RCMP were notified at 8:49 p.m. Saturday about the crash, which happened at the end of Darlington Street East, according to an RCMP news release.
  The two occupants of the vehicle, both residents of Yorkton, were pronounced dead at the scene.
  An RCMP collision reconstructionist is investigating.
