  Andrea Lafond proved she was worth waiting for, says the chair of the Meewasin Valley Authority board.

  Andrea Lafond, who was formerly the vice-president of operations at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies, was introduced Tuesday at a news conference. Lafond, a Metis woman who was born and raised in Saskatoon, replaces Lloyd Isaak, who was unexpectedly fired last May.
