Romanow: Follow the Rhone Valley for wines that please the palate
When people ask me for recommendations for a house wine, I usually try to give them a label that has both red and white wines, and that I am happy to drink myself.
The easiest region for me to name that fills both criteria is the Rhone Valley. From the prestigious Hermitages and Condrieu in the north, down the river to the Cotes du Rhone, Cotes du Rhone Villages, Tavel, all the way to Chateauneuf-du-Pape, the valley is filled with wines with a p -

The YWCA’s Opportunity Shop has been a fixture in Saskatoon for the last 55 years, but as it continued to grow, the organization decided it was finally time to make the move into a larger space.
Now, the shop is located only a few doors down from its old space. The larger store means a lot less headaches for the volunteers who run it — some of whom have been with the shop for more than 15 years.
Unlike some of the other larger thrift shops in the city, all money raised at the O -

“We wanted a space that (paren -
Book reviews: Teen tale navigates survivor guilt

So, without much life experience they came “to the conclusion that life in this town was impos -
