The Saskatoon Police Service wishes to advise the public and businesses after receiving a number of reports of fraudulent bills being passed.
Since the beginning of January this year, a total of 72 fraudulent bills have been turned into Police, in the denominations of $5, $20, $50 and $100. The transparent strip on the fraudulent bills have all been altered. Some bills include the transparent strip from a real $5 denomination.
