PRINCE ALBERT — Four men charged with second-degree murder in the beating of a 17-year-old northern Saskatchewan boy pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Seven people, including two youths, were initially charged with murder in the May 2015 death of Hilliard Sewap Jr. in Pelican Narrows.

A 44-year-old man has died in custody at the Pelican Narrows RCMP detachment.
The man was found unresponsive in the detachment’s cell area at 9 a.m. on Monday, RCMP reported in a news release. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The owner of a Hudson Bay building that burned down Monday night said he feels like he’s in a dream.
“It’s hard for it to seem real,” Robin Belhumeur said Tuesday morning, less than 12 hours after watching his downtown property go up in flames.
