  Saskatoon police say they used a bean bag weapon and two conducted energy weapons — also known Tasers — on a man who they say refused to drop a knife he was carrying.
  Police responded to the 100 block of Clarence Avenue shortly after noon on Tuesday after they received a report of a man harming himself, according to a news release.

  Kevin Umpherville, 22, was taken to Royal University Hospital on December 31, 2015, after being found unresponsive in his cell. He died in hospital on Jan. 15, 2016.
