All of Saskatchewan is now under an extreme cold warning
Environment Canada’s extreme cold warning is now in effect for the entire province of Saskatchewan — and it’s the only province with that distinction.

Southern Saskatchewan is expected to experience wind chills into the -30 C range to persist throughout the morning, and in many locations, the wind chills should reach -40 C.

My job enables me to shine a light on stories about people doing amazing things in the local arts community. I feel very lucky to be in that position.

Saskatoon Blades, P.A. Raiders renew rivalry in post-Christmas clash
The Saskatoon Blades and Prince Albert Raiders entered a frigid cold Wednesday in a dead heat with 33 points apiece.
The Blades — who were just starting to heat up prior to the holidays — came out fired up in their post-Christmas clash with the Raiders and left enjoying the upper hand.
Picking up where they left off earlier this month, the Blades skated away with a 4-2 victory over the rival Raiders in Western Hockey League action before a crowd announced at 3,395 at SaskTel Centre.
