Almost 30 people in Saskatchewan face an uncertain future after declining sales and millions of dollars in debt forced a local accessories retailer to enter receivership earlier this month.
Spareparts — the operating name of two numbered companies — earlier this year had 82 employees, including 26 at two retail stores in Saskatchewan and its Saskatoon headquarters, according to court documents.

Police search for masked thief after Broadway robbery
Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed a Broadway Avenue business Monday evening.
Officers learned about the heist when they received a report around 8:20 p.m., according to a police news release.
The thief, wearing a balaclava over his face, entered the business on the 1800 block of Broadway Avenue and demanded cash while menacing an employee with what may have been bear spray.
