Future surveys conducted by Saskatchewan Justice may ask respondents to “opt in” for data collection after a University of Regina prof raised concerns about the province’s anonymous survey on recreational cannabis legislation.
Marc Spooner, who specializes in qualitative and participatory action research, said previously that the survey could identify participants as it automatically collects IP addresses.

Following an evening meet-and-greet in North Battleford, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wrapped up a whirlwind visit to Saskatchewan with breakfast in Saskatoon.

Masked man makes off with money from North Battleford business
RCMP were dispatched to a North Battleford business after it was robbed by a masked man with a weapon.

As we transition to one provincial Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) in December, health care workers are anxious about yet another health care experiment by this government.
The government claims merging 12 health regions into one will save $10 to $20 million in executive salaries and board expenses, a drop in the $4 billion health care budget.
