  Swift Current fire chief Denis Pilon is warning people to stay off the ice and he has a viral video to back him up.
  In the video posted to Facebook on Wednesday, firefighters rescue a dog that its owners had allowed to run off-leash. It ventured onto thin ice and fell through.
  “Quick action calling the fire department helped save their pet. Please keep your pets and children away from the Creek, the ice is thin and it is NOT safe,” Pilon wrote on Facebook.
