Keith Moen has offered Saskatoon city council some advice for its 2018 budget talks, which start on Monday and are slated to last three days.

Two facing charges after man shot in Melville
A 22-year-old Melville man is facing charges after allegedly shooting another man.
The 25-year-old victim was taken to hospital, treated and released.
The accused was arrested at the scene without incident and has been charged with discharging a firearm with intent and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
Melville RCMP responded to a complaint of a firearm being discharged in a residence on the 7th Avenue West before 6 a.m. Thursday.

A man and a woman were arrested after an alleged assault on a Saskatoon security guard.
Officers responded to a business on the 300 block of Confederation Drive around 7:10 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release.
A security guard had been assaulted by two shoplifters he was trying to arrest, the release said. The guard was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
