A mother of two who was found dead inside a rented basement suite in 2016 was quick to help those less fortunate — including the man now accused of murdering her, according to a Crown prosecutor.
The Crown made its opening statement Monday at Saskatoon Court of Queen’s Bench in the first-degree murder trial of Tyler Hurd. He is charged in the death of Cynthia Crampton, the victim of Saskatoon’s seventh homicide of 2016.
