WestJet is warning passengers to check their flight status before they leave for the airport on Saturday, as an IT system outage is causing dozens of flights to be delayed.

In the first incident at 8:21 p.m., an officer saw a vehicle with a stolen licence plate at 20th Street West and Avenue P, according to a police news release. The officer followed the vehicle southbound on Avenue P to 11th Street and called for other officers to assist.

After decades of lessons, tests, quizzes and secret note passing, thousands of desks from Saskatoon’s elementary schools are retiring.
The public school division is installing new furniture at 43 schools.

Saskatoon's city parks badly underfunded, report says
The City of Saskatoon is falling behind in maintaining its beloved parks system and catching up will be expensive, a new report says.
A report to be considered by a city council committee on Monday says the overall parks system is ranked mostly fair to good, only because so much has been added in the last decade.
