Two people dead in three-vehicle collision in northwest Saskatchewan
Two people died in a three-vehicle collision on Highway 55 near Debden.
The multi-vehicle crash took place Sunday around 9 p.m., about eight kilometres south of Debden. A man from Prince Albert and a woman from Big River First Nation, travelling in the same southbound vehicle, died at the scene, RCMP said in a news release.
A total of three occupants from the other two vehicles sustained minor injuries. One was taken to hospital for treatment.

Canada’s largest uranium mining company employs almost 100 fewer women than it did five years ago, and the number of women as a percentage of total employees has been trending down since 2012.

Two people dead, two injured in Highway 16 collision near Langham
A man and a woman are dead after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 16 near Langham.
Warman RCMP, fire and EMS responded Monday around 1:30 a.m. to the scene of the crash, RCMP said in a news release. Following the initial investigation, police say a westbound truck travelling in the eastbound lane struck an eastbound car on Highway 16. The man driving the car and the female passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Shakespeare festival announces three productions for 2018
Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan has announced its plans for 2018.
The festival will have The Merry Wives of Windsor and Hamlet on the mainstage. A third production is also planned — a puppet version of the infamously violent Titus Andronicus led by Saskatoon puppet experts Crispi Porat and Kristi Friday of Stumped Productions.
The company will expand slightly to 15 actors. All will appear in the comedy, nine will enact Hamlet and six Titus Andronicus.
