  A 30 year old man is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court tomorrow morning following an incident where a taxi was stolen from the airport.  The man was the sole occupant of the stolen taxi when police stopped the vehicle this morning.  Initial reports indicated two persons were taken into custody.  The 30 year old man is facing a charge of theft of motor vehicle and breach of probation. (Occurrence Number: 17-79522)

  City police are investigating a robbery that took place at a financial institution in the 3000 block of Eighth Street East on Monday morning.
  Police say shortly after 11:30, officers were called to the area for reports of a robbery in progress.
  According to a police news release, the suspect was gone when police arrived.
  However, witnesses told police the man came into the financial institution and demanded money from an employee, claiming to have a weapon. No weapon was seen during the incident

  Two men were taken into custody after police recovered a taxi that was reported stolen from outside the Saskatoon airport on Monday morning.
  The taxi had been left unattended with the keys inside, police said in a release.
  Police received a report that a taxi had been stolen outside the John G. Diefenbaker International Airport around 10:45 a.m.

  Saskatoon Police wish to alert residents to an expected increase in traffic in a south west neighbourhood tomorrow evening as the Canada 150 Train stops in our city.In celebration of the country's 150th birthday, the train will make a stop at the William A.
