The Saskatchewan Party government is expected to appoint former premier and Progressive Conservative party leader Grant Devine to the University of Saskatchewan’s board of governors in the coming days, the Saskatoon StarPhoenix has learned.
Devine, who taught agriculture at the U of S before serving as Saskatchewan’s premier from 1982 to 1991, is one of three government appointees to the 11-member board expected to be announced in the coming days.
