Nearly 5,000 people turned out for the Rock Your Roots Walk for Reconciliation in downtown Saskatoon Wednesday.

Two-term Saskatoon MLA Jennifer Campeau is resigning from office.
In a statement issued Wednesday, Campeau — who has represented the Saskatoon Fairview riding since 2011 — said she is leaving politics and Saskatchewan. She said she is moving to British Columbia to accept a job with mining company Rio Tinto.
