Tiger Woods was arrested early Monday on a DUI charge in Jupiter, Florida, and spent nearly four hours in a county jail before he was released.
Woods, the 14-time major champion who ranks second with his 79 career victories on the PGA Tour, has not played for four months. He is out for the rest of the season while he recovers from his fourth back surgery.
Woods was arrested on suspicion of DUI about 3 a.m. Monday and taken to the Palm Beach County jail, Jupiter Police spokeswoman Kristin Rightle

People in Saskatoon can continue having backyard fires while council figures out how to balance health concerns with private property rights.
The planning, development and community services committee voted unanimously Monday to have the Saskatoon Fire Department report back on options to limit wood burning in backyard fire pits.
The vote came after passionate pleas from residents for council to outright ban backyard wood fires.

University of Saskatchewan cuts six union jobs after negotiating voluntary buyout deal
Less than a week after announcing it had negotiated a voluntary buyout agreement with a union that represents around 1,000 of its employees, the University of Saskatchewan issued involuntary layoff notices to six members of the same union.
The affected employees worked in the university’s facilities management division and were part of the 1,000-member Administrative and Supervisory Personnel Association (ASPA), according to its newly-installed president.

Two years after her disappearance, Kandice Singbeil's family appeals for information
The family of Kandice Singbeil is appealing to the public for information about her disappearance two years ago.
Singbeil, a mother of two, was last seen May 25, 2015, riding a “Cruiser Classic” bicycle in the city’s downtown area. Her disappearance has been described as “suspicious” by police. On Monday, police issued a statement written by the family.

Golf legend Tiger Woods arrested near home in Florida for DUI
Police in Florida say golf legend Tiger Woods has been arrested for DUI.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Woods was booked Monday into a county jail at 7:18 a.m. and released on his own recognizance at 10:50 a.m.
Jail records show Woods had been arrested by police in Jupiter. He has been charged under a Driving Under the Influence statute.
No other details were immediately available. Messages left for a Jupiter police spokeswoman were not immediately returned.

Four people, including two youths, facing 61 charges after break and enters in Tisdale area
Four Tisdale residents are facing dozens of charges after a series of break and enters and thefts resulted in between $20,000 and $50,000 in damage and loss of property.
According to RCMP in a news release, two adults and two youths were arrested and are now facing a combined 61 charges. Those charges include multiple counts of break and enter, theft and mischief.
