  Walpole Island First Nation Chief Leela Thomas was elected Saturday to a second term.Thomas, first elected in 2024 , took about half of all ballots cast for chief, with 504, according to results posted by the First Nation, also named Bkejwanong.Thomas finished ahead of Kennon M.L. Johnson, Daniel Miskokomon, Ronald A.
