• Busy used book sale helps fund community causes

    At one point at least, there were about 15,000 books on display for this year’s Rotary Club of Sarnia-Bluewaterland book sale.     Police are investigating after a stabbing early Saturday on Somerset Crescent in Sarnia, the city’s service says. Police responded at 5:20 a.m. to a disturbance in a basement apartment in the Cardiff Acres neighbourhood, and found an adult male with a “significant” stab wound, “bleeding heavily,” police said.
