• Vanier Road mobile-home fire extinguished

  Ottawa firefighters were able to quickly put out a mobile-home fire late Saturday afternoon.
  Firefighters were called around 4:42 p.m. when flames were seen coming from the rear of a trailer at 37 Vanier Rd. Crews were able to extinguish the flames. The trailer was unoccupied at the time. Firefighters estimate that total damage at less than $50,000. No one was injured.
  Ottawa fire continues to investigate. No cause had been determined.
