  It was a pleasant day Saturday with the sun warm on people’s faces, a good day to be outside despite some north wind.
  But, according to Environment Canada, that lunchtime temperature of -6 C felt like -13.

  One person is in custody and two others are at hospital after a late-night stabbing Friday.
  At 1:45 a.m. Saturday, police say in a media release, officers were called to Meadowlands Drive west of Merivale Road, where they found two adults who had been stabbed. They were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
  A suspect was arrested at the scene and remained in custody on Saturday.ALSO IN THE NEWS

  There’s a pile of snow around your home, but your furnace still needs a way to blow away carbon monoxide, Ottawa Fire Services warns.
  The firefighters have been called out to more than a dozen homes where carbon monoxide detectors has sounded off for this reason.
  Exhaust vents from a gas-powered furnace or water heater are plastic tubes that stick out the wall of the house a metre or so above ground level. Drifting snow can cover them, and Ottawa’s last snowstorm came with high winds

  Ottawa police have located a 7-year-old girl who had been reported missing on Saturday.
  According to police, she was found before noon and is “presently safe.”
  Officials also thank the public for their assistance.

  Ottawa police are seeking the public’s help to locate a missing seven-year-old girl.
  Khalida Musah was last seen in the area of Tremblay Rd. and Avenue S in Overbrook at 10 p.m. Friday, and was noticed missing at 6 a.m Saturday.
  She is described as a black female, 4 feet tall, with short black hair (she has four cornrows in her hair). She is believed to be wearing light blue pyjamas with green stars, a dark blue winter coat, and brown boots.

  BROCKVILLE — A 15-year-old Brockville girl, accused of manslaughter in the death of Damian Sobieraj in September, is back behind bars.
