  A woman in her 20s was sexually assaulted as she slept in an Algonquin College lounge early on Oct. 14.
  Police are now asking the public to help them identify a suspect who was captured on surveillance cameras coming from a nearby OC Transpo station and walking the hallways of the building.

  An Ottawa surgeon is under investigation by The Ottawa Hospital and the University of Ottawa after making an allegedly inappropriate joke.

  Gatineau police are investigating a house fire that left two people displaced early Tuesday.
  Neighbours alerted residents at 11 Cotignac St. that there were flames burning on the outside of the residence. Firefighters were called at about 3:30 a.m. and took less than an hour to bring the fire under control.
  There were no injuries and damages were estimated at about $15,000.

  Fire crews had to extricate the driver of a Honda Civic from his car after the vehicle collided with a dump truck Tuesday morning near in the east end Vars.
  The crash occurred near the intersection of Frontier Road and Devine Road at around 8:15 a.m. and caused the doors of the Civic to seize shut.
  Firefighters pried the doors off with specialized equipment.
  Both drivers were assessed by paramedics at the scene and were in stable condition.
  An investigation into the crash by police is ongoing.
