  Ottawa police west division detectives are appealing to the public for any information or even video that might have been taken when several Saunders Farm employees were assaulted on Oct. 13.

  A convicted sex predator and former teacher has once again been charged by Ottawa police sexual assault detectives.
  Police announced Monday that Robert Clarke, 74, of Morrisburg has been charged with one count of gross indecency after a male former student came forward to investigators last week.
  Clarke is alleged to have touched the student in an inappropriate manner while Clarke was employed by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board during the late 1970s.

  Changes to the way safe-injection sites are licensed and funded will have wide-ranging effects on the four locations operating in Ottawa, according to Rob Boyd, director of harm reduction at the Sandy Hill Community Centre.

• Firefighters revive jogger who was in cardiac arrest in front of station

  A group of fire fighters in Orleans were called by bystanders to assist with a situation that saw a jogger pass out in front of their fire station.
  According to Captain Jim Armstrong, crew members were alerted to the situation around 10:15 a.m. when someone banged on the fire station door at 500 Charlemagne Boulevard and told them that a man needed medical attention outside.
  When fire fighters arrived they found the man without a pulse, another bystander had already started administering CPR.
