  A portion of McArthur Avenue has reopened after a collision involving an Ottawa police cruiser closed a portion of the road Saturday evening.
  The crash occurred at about 7:10 p.m. on McArthur between the Vanier Parkway and Marguerite Street. A police supervisor had few details Sunday morning but one of two vehicles was attempting to turn when the crash took place. The officer was responding to a priority call at the time.

  A homicide investigation has been opened after the body of missing person Emilie Maheu was found in South Glengarry Township late Saturday morning.
  At about 11:30, Stormont Dundas and Glengarry OPP responded to a report that a body had been discovered, and it was later confirmed to be that of the 26-year-old Maheu, who had gone missing two days earlier.
