  Ottawa police say they expect to lay weapons charges after arresting two men and seizing a loaded handgun early Sunday.
  On Saturday about 10 a.m. someone fired a series of shots at a private home on Heatherington Road in the Heron Gate area. The gunman drove away in a car.

  Three people escaped from a house that caught fire a little after midnight Sunday morning on Tennyson Street, near the south end of Merivale Road.
  A man phoned 9-1-1 to say he had escaped the fire by climbing out on the roof of the solarium at the back of the home, but that his parents were still inside.

  Traffic enforcement continued in high gear Sunday morning and the list of charges piled up before most people had even finished breakfast.
  Ottawa police caught more than three dozen speeders in a two-hour stretch before 7 a.m.
  They also caught a pair of drivers travelling at 115 and 116 km/h, respectively, in 60 km/h zones.
