  Ottawa police were seeking the public’s assistance in locating David Burnett, 75, missing on Sunday from the Viewmount Drive-Merivale Road area,
  Police said Burnett went missing after leaving for a walk shortly before noon.
  Burnett is a white male, five feet, eight inches tall with a medium build. He is balding and has a grey beard.

  Ottawa police are asking for any information to help them locate a missing 25-year-old woman.
  Christi Baker was last seen in the area of Berkshire Way in Barrhaven, police said Sunday. Police believe she may be driving a grey 2007 Ford Freestyle crossover type vehicle with Ontario licence plate number CCTK 710.
  Baker is described as a white woman, with dark brown hair, who stands five-feet-seven-inches tall with a medium build.

  A 41-year-old woman injured in a two-car collision on Highway 50 Saturday is in intensive care in life-threatening condition, according to Quebec police.
  The woman and her daughter were travelling westbound on the highway in Gatineau around 4 p.m. when their vehicle collided with a vehicle they were attempting to pass.

  A fire Saturday evening caused approximately $300,000 in damage and forced 38 resident out of an apartment complex in Gatineau.
  The Gatineau fire department said the blaze at 160 rue de Lausanne, a short distance from the Tecumseh Golf Club, was reported just before 7 p.m. It was reportedly under control by just before 9 p.m.
  The blaze was under investigation by fire department investigators, but had not been referred to Gatineau police, a media release said.

  An arrest warrant has been requested for a 19-year-old from the national capital area after several high-end laptops were stolen at local universities.
  Marcus Matamba has been charged with six counts of theft under $5,000 and six counts of breach of probation, Ottawa police said in a news release Saturday night.
  The thefts took place between Jan. 11 and Feb. 9, and usually occurred in study areas while targeted students momentarily left their computers unattended, police said.

  Ottawa police are investigating an armed robbery at a Vanier pot shop Saturday afternoon that saw a shot fired by one of three assailants who fled with cash and drugs.
  Police were called to 613 Medicinals at 274 Montreal Rd. just before 3 p.m.
