  The Ottawa Hospital has apologized after a staff member pointed to the floor when a patient begged for a place to lie down during a long wait in the emergency department.
  Martina Campbell, a retired nurse who worked at the Civic among other places, witnessed the incident Monday night at the Civic hospital’s crowded emergency room.   A 36-year-old woman is facing charges after a vehicle rolled over on Boulevard Allumettières early Sunday morning.
  Gatineau police report the driver was trying to negotiate the roundabout on Allumettières at the intersection of Rue Labellle, near the edge of Gatineau Park in the Hull sector of the city. The east-bound vehicle flipped over and struck a west-bound car about 40 minutes after midnight.

  During the short trip from the Château Laurier Hotel to the National War Memorial, literally across the street in Ottawa, Karen Kuldys stopped twice.
  She took one digital photo showing the Rideau Canal locks leading to the Ottawa River. Her son, Ryan, took another, with Kuldys seated next to a plaque honouring Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, who was killed while on sentry duty on Oct. 22, 2014.
