• Man suffers head injury from falling tree branch

  A 71-year-old Ottawa man was treated in hospital for a head injury after he was hit by a branch while up in a tree in Crystal Beach Tuesday afternoon.
  An Ottawa paramedics spokesperson said the man fell and lost consciousness for several minutes, but had regained consciousness by the time emergency service personnel arrived.
  He was in stable condition, according to paramedics. A second man, who was not hurt, had to be helped down from the tree.
