  Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in locating Judith Dick, 77.
  Dick, who is also known as Judith Morgan, has been missing since 8 a.m. Saturday and oolice are concerned for Dicks’ well-being.
  She was last seen in the area of Woodfield Drive in Nepean.
  She is described as Caucasian, five-feet-six-inches tall, weighing about 11 pounds, with long reddish-orange hair.
  She may be wearing a long, light brown long tunic, black pants, running shoes and glasses.

  The father of a six-year-old boy who was the subject of an Amber Alert this week appeared by video in an Ontario court Saturday and will be transferred back to Quebec.
  The boy vanished from St-Eustache, QC, on Thursday and was found uninjured with an adult man when he was apprehended in Ontario nearly 24 hours later. By then, the body of the boy’s mother had also been discovered in the family home.

  Frank Licari was diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer and was given two months to live.
  That was 16 years ago.
  Five years ago, still being treated for the cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, mycosis fungoides with Sézary syndrome, he was diagnosed with a virus in the brain, likely because his immune system was suppressed. Again, doctors predicted Licari had only weeks to live. Again, he dodged that prediction.

• Two displaced as cooking fire severely damages Constance Bay cottage

  Two people have been displaced after a cooking fire Saturday afternoon severely damaged a cottage at 134 Lane St. in the Constance Bay neighbourhood.
  Firefighters were called to the address shortly before 1 p.m. and found smoke showing on all sides of the small structure.
  The residents, who were renting the cottage, had left without incident.
  Fire services declared the fire under control at about 1:30 p.m.
  There were no injuries and damages were estimated at $50,000.
