A large commercial vehicle carrying boxes flipped on its side in Greely on Thursday afternoon.
At 1:31 p.m., Ottawa police received a call about a vehicle that was “manoeuvring and overturned” at the intersection of Parkway Road and Sale Barn Road in Ottawa’s south end.
There were no injuries.
Police said it would take them some time to get the vehicle back on its tires and clean up the fuel on the road. Police have advised people to avoid the area. About

Insiders shouldn't choose the city auditor
There is an invisible barrier that stretches across the Inter-provincial Bridge from Quebec into Ontario. This membrane stops all forms of corruption and financial malfeasance in municipal government. Mobsters, criminals and fraudsters are magically stopped halfway across the bridge.
At least, this seems to be the idea of some city of Ottawa politicians.
This is the point that a disinterested reader might get when reading the claims contained in a lawsuit against the city for alleged polit -

Reevely: How Ontario is getting back into the coal-power business
Ontario taxpayers will soon be part-owners of one of the biggest coal-fired power plants in America west of the Mississippi River, making money off pollution in the U.S. Northwest that would be illegal to emit at home.
That’s business, and when the government goes into business, money talks.
It’s part of the package in Hydro One’s multibillion-dollar purchase of Avista Utilities, which the former Ontario government property announced Wednesday. Now that the province has sold 60 -

Fourteen medal categories, 5,000 athletes.
