  Maybe it’s as simple as saying the Ottawa Redblacks really, really do want to see what Corey Tindal, Sherrod Baltimore and Adrian James can do.

  U.S. Air Force F-35A jets will be making appearances at two Canadian air shows.
  The USAF F-35A Lightning II Heritage team will fly at the Abbotsford Air Show in Abbotsford, BC. That show runs from Aug. 11 to Aug. 13. The show will also feature Super Hornets. The F-35s were at the show last year but only in a static display.
  The USAF F-35A Lightning II Heritage team is also coming to Airshow London 2017. That show is in London, Ont. and runs from September 22 to 24.

  A 22-year-old man suffered injuries police say aren’t life-threatening in a shooting in the east-end Quarries neighbourhood Monday night.
  Ottawa Police were called to Carsons Road, near Collège catholique Samuel-Genest, at 10:25 p.m. The police have established a crime scene near homes in the area southeast of the intersection of Montreal Road and the Aviation Parkway.
