  An illegal pot shop in Ottawa’s west end off Richmond Road was closed Monday after two robberies on the weekend.
  The CannaGreen shop at 102 McEwen Ave. was robbed both Friday and Saturday night, according to a staff member. He was working Saturday around 9 p.m. when several young men rushed into the store, which stored the marijuana products in a back room.   MONTREAL A Gatineau man was found guilty on Monday of attempting to leave the country to participate in activities of a terrorist group — a conviction that carries a maximum 10-year sentence.
  Judge Serge Delisle said Ismael Habib’s version of events lacked credibility.

  Ottawa firefighters rescued a person whose vehicle crashed into the woods early Monday morning. The car veered off the road near the intersection of Stagecoach Road and Old Prescott Road into a heavily treed area near Greely, said firefighters.
  The vehicle was upside down, on its roof.  The driver was able to crawl from the wreck, but could not  navigate through the wooded area back to the main road without the assistance of firefighters.
