Sexual abuse allegations levelled against an Ottawa gynecologist by a patient are “not proved,” a College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario disciplinary committee has found.
During the hearings held in Toronto from May 30 to June 1, the panel heard that a female patient saw Dr. Nasser Roshdy Beshara for obstetrical prenatal care during her pregnancy between July and December 2007.
During the course of these appointments, she found Beshara acted “weird” -
Don't expect legal pot stores by Canada Day 2018, industry expert says
Recreational marijuana may be legal by Canada Day 2018, but Canadians will probably be buying it online, says Ottawa lawyer Trina Fraser.
She and some others in the cannabis industry doubt whether legal pot stores will be open in most provinces by the federal government’s target date for legalization.
There is a massive amount of regulatory work to be done, says Fraser, who advises clients on obtaining licenses to grow marijuana.

Trump says Qatar is funding terror – now U.S. signs $12 billion fighter jet deal with Qatar
What a difference a week makes.
Six days ago U.S. President Donald Trump was accusing Qatar of funding terrorist groups. “The nation of Qatar has unfortunately been a funder of terrorism, and at a very high level”, Trump said at the White House.
And in Washington on Wednesday, Qatari Defense Minister Khalid bin Mohammed al-Attiyah met with U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and signed a deal for F-15 fighter jets it described as being worth $12 billion (U.S.).
