A toddler was rushed to CHEO in critical condition after he was struck by a car in a residential parking lot in Gatineau around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

SIU investigating after two dead and one injured in ByWard Market
A cluster of related shootings in the ByWard Market early Saturday morning left two people dead, a third injured and prompted investigations by both the civilian police watchdog and homicide detectives.
One man was shot and injured in the area of Dalhousie and Clarence streets some time after 2 a.m. The suspect in that shooting fled the scene and later shot a second man, killing him.

An overnight fire on Banff Avenue is being investigated. Calls to 911 reported a fire inside a carport on Banff Avenue near Walkley Road. By the time Ottawa Fire Services arrived, the fire had spread to the house. Three people were displaced and one person needed treatment from paramedics. -
Arson unit investigating after car fire spreads to single family home
The Ottawa police arson unit is investigating an overnight fire on Banff Avenue in the city’s south end.
Calls to 911 Saturday just after 5 a.m. reported a car on fire inside a carport at a single-family home on 1930 Banff Ave., near Walkley Road.
By the time Ottawa Fire Services arrived, the fire had spread to the house.
Three people were displaced and one person needed treatment from paramedics.
Investigators were on the scene. -

Brooke Henderson maintains she tries to look at her LPGA Tour schedule only one week and one tournament at a time, the idea being to focus on the task immediately at hand.

House prices climb 7.4 per cent in May as Ottawa market strengthens
Real estate agents are finally getting a taste of spring — at least in some parts of the city.
The average price for residential properties in Ottawa sold in May jumped 7.4 year over year to $436,600, the Ottawa Real Estate Board reported Friday. It’s the second month in a row that has seen prices increase in excess of seven per cent, suggesting Ottawa’s real estate market is strengthening in favour of sellers.
