U.S. President Donald Trump’s first budget released last week will mean the A-10 Warthog will keep flying, at least in the foreseeable future.
The U.S. Air Force has been wanting to retire the aircraft, allowing the F-35 to take over its close air support role.
While the A-10 will be kept operational, some of the planes could be retired over the coming years.
