  SEATTLE — Teams searched Thursday for a sick, critically endangered orca in the waters of Washington state and Canada, but a scientist who closely tracks the population in the Pacific Northwest said he believes the whale known as J50 has died.

  An alert for snow flurries on the Coquihalla Highway has been rescinded.
  Environment Canada on Thursday morning posted a special weather advisory, saying flurries were expected near the summit on the Coquihalla Highway, from Merritt to Kamloops, with accumulations of up to two centimetres possible.
