  Local chefs reacted with sadness today on learning that American TV celebrity and food writer Anthony Bourdain committed suicide while working in France. He was 61.

  A small earthquake rattled parts B.C.’s south coast Friday morning.
  The quake, centred near Mayne Island, about 45 kilometres northeast of Victoria, struck at 10:09 a.m at a depth of 59 kilometres.
  The U.S. Geological Survey measured it as a 3.2 magnitude earthquake, while Natural Resources Canada listed it at 2.8 magnitude.

  The Abbotsford Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle, rollover accident involving a police cruiser with three officers inside.
  APD spokesperson Sgt. Judy Bird says the accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Harris Road near Bates Road. Bird said there were no injuries reported.
  An APD supervisor has been sent to investigate.
