Nadia Albano: Three ways to wear the baby bangs trend
via vancouversun.comOne of the biggest hair trends for 2018 is baby bangs; a short, choppy micro fringe that starts a few inches above your eyebrows.

via vancouversun.comPostmedia columnist Daphne Bramham is on an 18-day expedition that crosses the notoriously rough Drake Passage from the Falkland Islands to South Georgia — known as the Serengeti of the Southern Ocean — to Antarctica. ELSEHUL BAY, South Georgia — Humpback whales are the size of school buses. Minkes, by comparison, are small … for whales that is.

Opinion: Under-the-radar bylaw amendments could resuscitate Vancouver's ghost neighbourhoods
via vancouversun.comFew outside the architectural community talk about the beauty of Vancouver’s architecture. But it’s there: Look past the towering trees lining Vancouver’s leafy, pre-1940s neighbourhoods and you’ll notice a cacophony of architectural styles. Each of these homes was built in a slightly different era by a different builder following a different set of architectural ideals at a time when the details were paramount; the gables, the dormers, the handrails — there’s -
Opinion: Trudeau needs to stand up to Premier Horgan

In my view, this major Canadian energy infrastructure project is good for business and it’s good for Canada. It will create good-paying, family-supporting jobs, boost our economic activity and increase the value of Canadian oil on the wo -
Four vehicles run red lights in remarkable video from Richmond roads
via vancouversun.comA Richmond driver has shared footage of what appears to be shockingly brazen behaviour on local roads.
A video posted by YouTuber am0s.x shows four vehicles running red lights in the span of ten minutes last week in Richmond’s east Cambie neighbourhood, and these aren’t just vehicles on the wrong side of a yellow light. In each of the instances, the drivers go well out of their way to cross an intersection, completely ignoring the visual command to sit tight and wait -
