Chilliwack RCMP said 911 calls came in around 6:30 a.m. with people reporting hearing shots at a home in the 9200-block of Broadway Street.
Officers found a man with life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to hospital but did not survive.
Police have cordoned off the area near the home to begin their investigation. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has also been called to work with Chilliwack RCMP.
