  Land prices almost ended Jeffrey and Ava Reeve’s agricultural aspirations.

  Police and local search and rescue volunteers are looking for two snowmobilers missing since Saturday on a mountain near Revelstoke.
  According to a media release from the Revelstoke RCMP’s detachment commander, Staff Sgt. Kurt Grabinsky, the two men, Taylor Dumonceaux and Andrew MacLeod, both 24, were reported missing around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, after they did not return to the Boulder Mountain parking lot.

• Police watchdog investigating pedestrian hit by car in Vancouver

  Vancouver police say one of their vehicles collided with a pedestrian Saturday night.
  In a media release, a VPD spokesman said the collision happened shortly before 9:30 p.m. Saturday, near Knight Street and East 20th Avenue.
  The pedestrian is in hospital in serious condition. 
  According to Global News, the police vehicle was unmarked.

  A quiet Burnaby street was the site of police tape and lights late Saturday night.
  Shortly after 10:30 p.m., Burnaby RCMP were on scene at Griffiths Avenue near Halligan Street — just east of Metrotown — investigating a report of shots fired.
  They found bullet casings in the street, and there was a report that a home may have been struck by bullets.

  It has been a violent 24 hours in Metro Vancouver with a murder in Surrey and two men shot in Vancouver.
  Surrey RCMP responded to the he 17800-block of 64th Avenue about 12:25 a.m. Sunday. A man in distressed was found at the scene. He later died.
   
  The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken over the investigation and is suggesting the murder was targeted. No information yet on who the victim is.

• Homicide investigators called to Surrey home

  The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been called out to a murder in Surrey.
  IHIT says the killing is believed to be targeted. No other details were immediately available. 
  Just after midnight on Saturday Surrey RCMP responded to a call in the 17800-block of 64th Avenue. 
  Traffic is blocked on 64th Avenue from 176th Street to the west and 179th Street to the east.

• Juvenile Alaskan golden eagle monitored by researchers is found starving in Kamloops

  Staff at a bird rehabilitation centre in Kamloops typically don’t know where their rescued animals originally came from, but a recently discovered golden eagle was able to reveal just that.

  Police are investigating after two men were taken to hospital late Friday following a stabbing.
  Around 11 p.m. Friday, Surrey RCMP were called to the 9600-block of 169 Street.
  Officers found two men suffering from injuries, one from a stab wound and another with unspecified injuries. Both men were taken to hospital in serious condition.
