  Ivan Henry is seeking to dismiss a lawsuit filed by five women who claim he sexually assaulted them more than 35 years ago — and plans to seek special costs against them if he succeeds.

• Firefighter recovering after being tangled in hose dragged by driver

  A Vancouver firefighter is recovering in hospital after an alleged impaired driver drove over and dragged a working fire hose, tangling the firefighter and knocking him to the ground.

  The 3.8-kilogram girl entered the world south of the Fraser at Surrey Memorial Hospital Monday at 12:00:09 a.m., born to first-time mother Manpreet Kaur Nijjar and father Hardip Singh Shergill.
